Good AIM client for Mac OSX?

Well, as I eagerly await the arrival of my new 17 inch PowerBook, I am trying to gather the essential software. What is a good AIM client for Mac OSX? I have been spoiled by DeadAIM with Windows AIM with the tabbed IM's and logging. Is there a client for OSX with these features or similar featureset? I have heard things about Adium, but have never used it. Thanks in advance for all the help. Also, would you recommend Norton or McAfee for antivirus protection?

on macs you don't really have to worry about viruses.

I was told that iChat doesn't support all of the features of the AIM protocol, and some of the features on iChat can't be seen unless the other person uses iChat. Never heard of fire, so I will look into it. I know I don't have much to worry about virus's, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Plus I am going to be getting Office X, and read that macro virus's that affect Windows Office, can still infect a Mac.

iChat and Fire.

iChat is a better AIM client IMO, but Fire also supports ICQ, MSN, yahoo, etc.

Well, I was thinking about just using iChat, but I remember reading that it doesn't strictly adhere to the AIM protocol, so certain things, like away auto-response, don't actually work. Maybe this was about an older version.

Also, one other quick question, are there any keyboard shortcuts in safari that will bring you to the address bar (ctrl+d in FireBird), or auto complete (ctrl+enter for www. .com, etc...)? Thanks again for all the help
