Iron Maiden, Helloween, Queensryche, Skid Row, Guns 'n Roses, and alot more 🙂

Helloween aren't 80's as such, they're still going and still great.
They're brilliant, go Helloween. They also manage to keep that kinda retro sound, which makes them even better in this world of SOAD/Limp Bizkit or whatever other crap.

Well, they started out in the 80's, so IMO that makes them more 80's than anything else, even though they, along with many other great bands from that era, are still going strong(going to see Maiden on June 28'th in fact😀).

If you're a big Helloween fan, try Pink Cream 69, or Masterplan, many Helloween people like Pink Cream, and even more just love Masterplan, myself included 🙂

I'd also like to recommend some Blind Guardian, Hammerfall, & Iron Savior if you like the above stuff.

I'm going to the Maiden/Dio/Motorhead tour this year too if it comes near me.

Went to Hammerfall like a month or two ago, been several good concerts around here lately 🙂

Is Aceshigh a reference to Aces High by Maiden or something else?
Just curious.

You got it. That's where my nic comes from. I still think that's the best show opener they have had. Churchill's speech and then Aces High, great way to kick off a show.

The promise by.... Mmmm, I can't remember.
It goes something like: "I'm sorry but I can't find the right words to say, I know they don't sound the way I planned to be. But f you wait around a while, I'll make you fall for me I promise you, I promise you I will..."

Something like that. I'm pretty sure that song is from the 80s...

Are you talking about Janick Gers? I agree, he does kinda suck. But Adrian Smith is back in the band now too. He rejoined when Bruce Dickinson came back. They have a three guitar lineup now.

I have nothing against Gers, he plays well enough for me(granted, I don't know jack about guitarrs...).
He does look pretty wierd when performing live something though.

But Murray definately looks the coolest when playing 😀

If anything sucks, it's Blaze.
He's not bad on his own, but in Maiden...oh my.
