Good 80mm fan for my AX-7 and 120mm for case

Recently got an AX-7 HSF with an Enermax adjustable speed fan. The adjustable speed is nice but it's not strong enough (max 39CFM @ 32dB) for my overclocking. With my 1700+ @ 1.85V (1600Mhz) I get mobo temps @ 24C and CPU @ 45C (ambient temp @ ~20C). I'd like to put the voltage higher but I want to keep the CPU temps down.

Any recommendations for a better 80mm fan? The Delta screamer would be too loud, I'm thinking of a Mechatronics that gets 53CFM @ 39dB.

Since I'll already be paying shipping, perhaps I'll upgrade my intake fan to 120mm. It's currently a 92mm Sanyo Denki getting 55CFM @ 36dB (Static Pressure: 0.20, What's this mean?). Would a 120mm Delta getting 84CFM @ 34dB make much of a difference? Or would the 120mm Sunon getting 108CFM @ 42dB be much better? (more importantly, would 42dB be much louder than the 39dB Mechatronics?)

By themselves, I think it would be tolerable, but put all the fans you want together and that is one annoying case.

I think I read that each increase of about 5 dB(A) is a very noticeable increase in sound, so I guess you could use that as your rule of thumb.

The AX-7, I'd probably go with the Mechatronics(sp?) that you suggested if you don't mind the extra noise.

As for the case fan, I'd go with whichever one has the better ratio of cfm/dB(a).

I don't have that many fans on my system (the FongKai case has excellent cooling properties). There's the 92mm Sanyo intake in the lower front of the case, a 92mm OEM outtake in the rear, an 80mm Panaflo L1 in the PSU, and the 80mm Enermax on the heatsink (+ the OEM mini fans on the Via266a Northbridge and another on GeForce3Ti200). The Enermax at 32dB is inaudible over the case fans, although I guess the Mechatronics will be the loudest fan once I get it.

If I get a 120mm then I will pull the 92mm Sanyo (the intake holds 92mm or 120mm). From the 5dB rule I'm thinking I'll pass on the 120mm Sunon, but any thoughts on whether the 120mm Delta (at slightly lower dB then the current 92mm intake fan) would worthwhile, or is it just a waste of money as I've already got decent case cooling?

Maybe I'll pay a few bucks more and get the adjustable speed Enermax 120mm, at peak it's got the same CFM & dB performace as the Delta 120mm, but I can turn it down if I find the combination of fans to be too loud.

I put a 120 enermax adjustable in my FK an have been very pleased. Newegg had the best price when I was looking. I would change that and then see what you need for the hs.

I have that delta 80mm 68cfm and before i got it i thought it would be loud and soo on but now that i have it, its not that bad.. yes its kinda louder then ur other cpu fans but its still ok and it does not bother me.
