Well I'm hosting a big 4th of July celebration at my house, and I'm looking to build a playlist of good 4th of July tunes. I could use some help. Here is what I have so far. They should be songs that are about the 4th, america, summer, or just remind you of the summertime. But they have to be good!:)

Pink Houses - Mellencamp
Glory Days - Springstein
Born in the USA - Springstein
Saturday in the Park - Chicago
Hot Fun in the Summertime - Sly and the Family Stone
Small Town - Mellencamp
We're and American Band - Grand Funk Railroad
Higher and Higher - Jackie Wilson
American Woman - Guess Who
Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd
What I like About You - Romantics
Summer Breeze - Seals & Croft
Jumpin' Jack Flash - Stones
4th of July - X
Fortunate Son - CCR
Down on the Corner - CCR
Barbara Ann - Beach Boys
Surin in the USA - Beach Boys
California Girls - Beach Boys
Get Around - Beach Boys
Wipeout - Safaris
I Feel Good - James Brown
Papa's Got a Brand New Bag - James Brown
Hard to Handle - Black Crowes
Fat Bottom Girls - Queen(I don't know, reminds me of summer after seing the end of that video):)
Midnight Rider - Greg Allman
Pick Up the Pieces - Average White Band
Brick House - Commodores
Celebration - Commodores

this list will grow, but any help is appreciated. I think you can tell what kind of songs I"m talking about. :)

<< do they have to be about america? >>

what else would 4th of july refer to? american independence seems to be the only major event that i know of, but there might be some other holidays out there that falls on that day.

They don't have to be about america. If it is a fun song, or its about the summer, that would be fine too.
