Looking for some different games to play when my friends come over. Here's what we've played:

- Borderlands (we all played separately when it came out)
- L4D1&2
- Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (did not enjoy)
- Rainbow Six Vegas 1&2
- Serious Sam HD
- Sol Survivor
- Titan Quest

Its old but Conflict: Global Terror. Friend picked this up cheap at Ollies and we've been playing through. It's fairly decent and very challenging on the normal level.

You can play as a squad of 4.

Killing Floor and Alien Swarm are good co-op games, and have already been mentioned...

besides that...

My group has played most of the same games that you did. Here are the others we played:

- Killing Floor. It doesn't have the cinematics that L4D does, but it incorporates a few RPG concepts such as gaining rank and earning money for better weapons. Well received.

- Minecraft. Construction game that appeals strongly to explorer/builder types.

- League of Legends. Isometric arena game with a bazillion different classes. There was a free open beta but the game could be released now.

- Borderlands DLC. Worth a special mention because we ended up playing through every DLC. It's a bit expensive ($5 per right on steam sale) but the DLC really does add a lot of hours to the game and some of the fights are pretty well done (Cramerax).

- Dawn of War 2. Campaign is only co-op for 2, but it's a great game to play multiplayer with 4.

- HAWX 2. Pretty good chance of pace flight combat game, with an emphasis on arcade combat rather than simulation. 4 person co-op.

Upcoming co-op games:
Brink (up to 8)
Diablo 3
Bulletstorm

Another real old one: Hidden & Dangerous 2 with the Sabre Squadron expansion pack (needed for coop)

been awhile since I played it, but Flatout 2 had 4 player LAN play right? the Destruction Derby mode was such a blast to play. I just picked up Flatout 2 & the one after it for $3 on the Steam Xmas sale.

Yep this game is fun to play MP. Me and a buddy played the original quite a bit and then upgraded to Flatout 2 Ultimate Carnage awhile back on a steam sale and still play it. Derbies and stunts are great and even the racing can be good. Sometimes we'll just turn off the timer and mess around for awhile on a track with huge jumps and try placing one of us right where the other guy lands. Hilarity ensues. This is via steam, but I do remember at least the first one had LAN play.

SWAT 4 (along with it's add-on) co-op is fun in MP as well.

I think Counter strike source or BC2 can always played online or offline, CS source i believe you can run your own server. I assume you got enough machines. I don't know if COH can be played LAN but I believe I remember it is capable of that, another great game you can split into 2v2.
