Good 3DMark 2000 score?

I have an Athlon 900@1GHz, GeForce2 with the memort clocked at 350MHz and 192 megs of PC100 ram running at 133MHz.

My 3DMark score was 6737.

Does this sound about right or could it be better?

It seems in the ballpark. I have my FSB pushed up to 109 (105/35 + 4) multiplier @ 900 on my KT7, and my PC133 running at 144MHz CAS2. My score comes in at 7198 in the default benchmark with the GeForce2 not overclocked.

That sounds about right. It's definitely not too low or anything, so I wouldn't really worry 🙂

(me gets about 2800 3d Marks on my system 🙁)

I got 2707 the last time I ran the default benchmark. I ran that test at 650MHz w/ a 100MHz FSB, see sig for rest of my specs. But I have got better when I upped the FSB to 105 (680Mhz CPU clock). But whats hurting my score so much is the G400 I think. Anyone else see this as the problem?

Technonut, I was just curious, can u run the memory at a higher speed than the FSB on those boards? They use multipyers on em?

snow patrol, What kinda system do u have?

Rotax, Technonut is using an Abit board. There is a setting in the bios where you can make the memory run at the FSB speed plus the pci speed. So at 100FSB, your PCI bus is 33, add them and you get 133. What he is doing is running at 105FSB, 35 PCI, PLUS 4MHz giveing him 144MHz. Yes he could run it faster if his CPU and ram can handle it. I think that fastest he could make his ram run is around 230Mhz but I don't think the new 150MHz ram could even do that soooo.....

I have a score very close to 5000, the exact score is on my website

I guess that is good?

AMB- I think you should be able to tweak your system to get a higher score. I'm running off a DDR and 550e@809 and I get scored of about 5500.

Try enabling fast writes and make sure you're using 4x agp mode. Try using the later (beta) reference drivers.
