I'm going to be building a system that will be used for graphics design, and want a video card that has great 2D quality (3D performance is negligble) and has the ability to hook up at least two monitors to it. It also needs to support 1600x1200@75 for either monitor.

Anyone have suggestions?

I believe Matrox has award winning 2D and make a card that can have up to three monitors. Not sure if it is the Parhelia card or not.
I will try to get a link for you.

Matrox was who I was thinking of as well, and is probably my number one choice. How is their driver support with WinXP?

G450 is probably alot cheaper than the parhelia. it has drivers for all the windows. it also has Dualhead, matrox's dual monitor. matrox has THE BEST 2d image quality of any other company. They also have the best multimonitor support. they have been around for a while and i have never heard anyone complain about their drivers. but not very many people have matrox cards. my old mallinium has not been fired up in years.

my next card will probably be a matrox. my geforce's image quality is not as good as my voodoo5s. BTW, any clue to what matrox will make after teh parhelia?
