My friend bought a TSX... he didn't even look at the RX8 because it was a Mazda. He's being a dumbass... the RX8 is a better car. Screw the navigation. You're a dork if you buy a car because you "like the navi."

The A4 is a tad out of the price range as are the IS300 and BMW 3-series if they're new. The 6 is nice... but I'd so much rather have an RX8. The WRX is a good choice too but the interior of the RX8 is nicer IMHO. If you just wanna save some $$ but want speed... SRT4.

He wants an automatic. Automatic RX8s are some slow ass cars, they run low 16 seconds or so. Going to auto, mazda waters down the engine freaking 40 HP, you lose two gears, and you get a power sucking torque converter.

I also don't care if my car can "run 14s."

I'm not some retard suicidal RiCeBOi that can't contain the urge to race every souped-up Civic I meet at a stoplight. As long as it runs, runs well, and I enjoy driving it, it's a contender.

cars direct is showing the base rx-8 auto at 25,700 before ttl here in houston, granted, it is still pretty damn cool at that price, but the frog eyes will run ya another 2 grand

i'd get the 6, myself. pretty good to drive, really large trunk, more useable back seat than the rx

i don't think you fully understand the scale of slowness here. Next time you need to pass a corolla, you could end up flat footed.

But the SRT4 is still....a....Dodge. :disgust:

The 6s will offer some nice performance plus a big trunk and a rear seat. Depends on what you want, functionally-speaking, in a car.

Dodge is great!
my 2k1 Neon has been more mechanically sound than my dads 2000 Maxima.. I am beginning to hate that car, and its not even mine!

Chryslers start falling about at about the 3yr mark. Usually starts with the windows (they don't roll up/down as smoothly). Then odd things with the engine mgmt computers, then problems with head gaskets, problems with transmissions creep in about 100k miles.

They are very unreliable.

You may have a point. I'll definitely make sure to punch the gas when I test drive one to see how sluggish it really is.
