Good 17" True Flat CRT Monitor?

I was just wondering what is a good quality 17" flat CRT monitor for a reasonable price (around 150 at the most). I've seen deals for Envision (went to check it out, but the quality on the tube sucked), ?Phillips, and SamSung. I've heard some good comments on the SamSung one, has anyone had any experiences with any of these other monitors, or would like to suggest another one of a reasonable price?

Edit: Thanks for all of your prompt responses, i think that i've deceded to get the 753DF SamSung monitor at CompUSA for $150 because i don't want to deal with shipping to Hawaii.

i know Samsung is good but have you check Sony? any E series monitor will be good, the prices might be higher but the quality is very good. I had my E400 for almost 3 yrs and it perform flawlessly.

samsung 755df or the cheaper 753df, there are hot deals on these quite often

Im using the 753DF and ill never go back to a non flat moniter. In my opinion its your best bang for your buck. Good luck finding a moniter anyways.

Sams club had an xflat 17" monitor from kds a few months ago for 150. It looked pretty good and the specs were nice.

I quite happy with my Philips Blilliance Flat Screen. Cost about $170 though.

First of all go to the General Hardware forum and search for posts that contain either the word monitor or by the user LXi (who knows A LOT about monitors is very helpful).

I have the Samsung SyncMaster 753DF which I bought for $89 with FREE SHIPPING a few months ago from Dell.com (the deal is long since DEAD but if you watch the Hot Deals forum you can probably buy this for around $120 shipped).

samsung 753df its cheap; its flat; and its colors are fairly vibrant (resolution recomended = 1024*768 @ 85 hz)

i absolutely love my LG Flatron 795FT+
i spent $400 CAD on the first one, I believe they've dropped to under $250 CAD now.

one of the few CRT's to use a real flat tube.
picture is gorgeous... it's a little big though
