Gonna try an AMD- Good mb price/features?

Want to try an amd rig so will look for a motherboard and maybe a 1 gig tbird. I have good ram, antec 300w and chrome orb & super orb right now. I like the features of the MSI K7T right now but wont oclock right away.
Any other features to look for?

If you need a ISA slot Id say the MSI, if not I like the Asus A7V133 (I own it). Main thing to look for is KT133A... that way you can run 133Mhz FSB (266 DDR) otherwise with KT133 you can only do 100 (200 DDR).

I still have a USR isa modem so would like the isa and have both crucial or mosel 133 ram so would like the 133A I guess.

If you need ISA, go for Abit or Epox.

Have just switched from Pentium (400 II) to tbird 1 gig. Athlon faster but not blindingly so. Unfortunately I have the KT7RAID - therefore miss the 133a chipset and - it looks like - the 133FSB.

Like the Athlon, but think will head for Pentium4 next. Oh yeah, does depend on the ISA - that;'s why I wnet for the ABIT - all the MSI's I looked at didn't have it..... also depends on how may ide devices you want. I went for raid to give me the flexibility with disks - Video editing etc - it works well.
