anywho... what do i need to do scrap this? do i need to tear it all apart or can i just load that shit up in the truck and take it? (is the amount of money i get gonna be that drastic?)

i'm lazy

Just load it up and take it to the scrap yard. Sure some of the metals in the AC units might be worth more(copper)but you're not gonna make a lot of money off this.

Last year we took about 4,000 pounds of scrap steal and iron to the yard and I think we got around....$500 maybe. I don't remember the exact amount but it wasn't a lot.

Depending on where you live the scrap yard will tell you to dump it off here or there depending on how green they are or not. Like you really need our opinion on dumb shit like this? If I owned the scrap yard then my thoughts might actually matter ... .. .

You need to get an HVAC man to recover the refrigerant and give you a certificate that it's been done, else no one will take it.

Many scrap yards give a 'flat rate' to a/c units. You can call ahead.

If the metal is all separated they will pay by the pound for it.

pics of the plow? If it is in fairly good condition, or is repairable, it may be worth more than scrap.

That is what I was thinking. If it is truly an old antique plow then there are people that would pay way more than scrap to have it as lawn art.

You will get way more for the a/c if you separate it into steel, copper and copper aluminum. Take the whole thing apart take the coil cut the u-tubes off with the steel plate. The coil is copper aluminum. Then separate your copper tubes from the steel. Its a lot of work for the 30-40 bucks your going to get. I wait til I have quite a few of them to make it worth it.
