Well, in a few months i'm turning 16. So i'm leaving in a few hours. What kinda job pays most? I mean for a person my age. I can do bag boy in Publix or something, but i'm looking for what else is out there. Any ideas?

Come on, get serious. I have friends my age that work as couriers for restoraunts, but i wanna know if there are other options, because there are no restoraunts close to home.

Where the heck do you live that doesn't have restaurants?

Talk to the parents of friends. Maybe you can get an office job doing filing or something like that in the afternoons after classes.

In freaking America. I dont have a car yet, so.. The plaza near our house is all big stores like Home Depot and stuff like Wendy's.

good question. i wonder what he could get as part time that pays well? i wouldn't expect anything over $10/hour if that.

work in one of those places.
very doubtful you will get a part time job doing something that you actually like.

i don't know why people would flame you. at least you're out there trying to get a job instead of the rest of the losers who will live off mommy and daddy the rest of their lives.

or sqandering off the state - If able to work that is

Good Luck Dude! I like your attitude and like Pontifex said you are trying hard, unlike a lot of people out there.

I started at a low end and ended up in the high end, its a matter of time and hard work.

I found a summer job at the age of 15 working at a small supermarket, $250 a week and thru hard work and time....8 years & two companies later, I make that in a day.

There you go. Put in an application at those places and see what you get.

Yes, working retail or fast food sucks, but you're not going to find much else at 16 unless you get lucky. 🙁

I have a question:

It wasn't about the place i should work in, but about the position

Because bag boy is allright, but i'm wondering what else a person my age can do there.

Thanks for your support so far, and for not flaming me. (I allready checked in two small restourants, they didn't take me.) Home Depot will be next.

Well, if you're working at a grocery store for example, I'm sure bagging groceries won't be your only duty. You'll probably have to help with stocking the shelves, sweeping/moppint etc and so on.
