i have my copy of xp pro behind me right now, just waiting on my dragon+ and xp1800 to come in to make the switch. gonna have to set up the raid array as well. hopefully wont take more than a night 🙂

More painless for gaming.. that's why I haven't installed it yet.. though I have a copy right in front of me as well as Office XP..

Accually I have ZERO problems with sound at this point (haven't installed games) but everthing I read seemed to be in regard to THe aureal/ Via issue. Xp just loaded up the drivers!

Only prob I have is the file sharing. Still reading!

Ugh. XP looks like a friggin help manual all the damn time, even when it is in classic mode, or whatever it's called. But have fun with XP, if you really enjoy it.

if you're not gonna format ntsf, why even bother to format? i dunno why people always reformat when they install/reinstall windows, hard drives don't work too well if formatted too muuch.

I am glad I didn't get the POS version of 98. Mine is working fine and I am in no rush to upgrade.
