Why will it be a long night? You don't really have to do anything.

And with all the unwanted dogs/cats being put down every year why are you letting yours breed?
 
as he stated in OP, he had a pup pass away the first go around, so he wants to make sure that they are all safe this time around.

she had 5 (shs never had more then four, and any other shih tzu i've seen has never had more then four)

all seem healthy and i'm exhausted.

now up for long haul

Because those are unwanted dogs/cats. Since Heller will probably be able to sell these puppies for a considerable amount of money, I tend to think that they're wanted, not unwanted. It's not his fault that there's a market for that particular breed. 🙂

Congrats, Heller! I hope they all remain nice and healthy for you. We were disappointed this morning - one of our goats kidded during the night. We expected twins but she only had one. And, it was a little buckling. ($100 lower in value than a doeling.) But, we're expecting a lot more kids next weekend. Hopefully, there are a lot more females in that batch!

There's an alpaca giving birth where I live sometime this week. (they make really cute babies). With them you realllly want the baby to be a girl as the average female is worth $20,000 more than an average male. Of course, if the male is high quality, you can stud him out and make a lot more money that way. Maybe I'll make a thread when the alpaca gives birth.
