My wife and I play every Saturday morning at 7 am..

Great way to spend time together..

I find the card game Golf more fulfilling then the game played with sticks and balls.

I'm beginning to see the appeal. Got into watching it recently and off to a driving range with friends soon.

Yeah, it is the benefit of living in a small town where the golf course isn't too busy. I think so far this year, I've made 2 tee-times for my course. 18 holes, pretty nice (though not spectacular), and barely a soul on it sometimes. Relatively cheap to play too, especially at the clip I play, in the end it costs me less than $5 per round 😛

I love the house I'm in now, but if an acreage near the course goes for sale, I'm going to have to think long and hard about it!
 
Golf is probably my favorite thing to do, especially since I'm getting my game back. I've only played 3 times this year, and I keep impoving each time. last summer i was shooting mid 80's pretty consistently. This year so far I shot:

I just got a new driver and was ripping drives 260 into the rough, 280-290 onto the fairway. I am in the process of trying to sell stuff to purchase some fitted irons for myself because I want to continue to improve my game, and my clubs just aren't that great right now. They are an old set I got fofr $150 for a complete set probably 5 years ago.

I plan on playing next weekend or possibly this weekend. If I could, I would play golf every day.
 
i love golf.. i think it's an awesome sport/game whatever you want to call it.. it's not super streneous, but requires a lot of skill.. easy to learn, hard to master.. takes time and practice and patience.. i love it!
