Golf GPS

The kids want to get me a golf oriented GPS unit for Father's Day.

I looked around the club & no one uses one yet, although my course is in the database of both companies.

The Garmin GolfLogix8 is around $300.
The SkyCaddie3 is around the same price.

Anyone who has used one of these, please let me know your experience.
