It should work well with RC5. As it only runs as a screen saver, they can trade off using the CPU.

whats the point?
All the other DC projects have a point, i.e. encryption, searching for little green guys, protein folding energies, etc
but does this?

i mean its pretty kewl and all, but unless theres something thats being benefitted(sp?) or solved i really dont see the point when I could be using those cycle for rc5 and seti. just imho

Well, it's something different to try out. I got a few machines to play with so Fred gets some different projects occasionally. There's a message board here, if anyones interested. Someone even came up with a file to make it run continually..
