Marv Albert just said, it would be the greatest upset in the history of the NBA Finals. That's very debatable. Maybe in the first round, but not all the playoffs.

in terms of win totals it is. mavs are have 25 more wins than the warriors. Unless you can think of some other major upset like a below 500 team beating a #1 seed.

Vegas odds don't count.

Regardless of what the numbers say I'm not completely shocked at this outcome ... Dallas just doesn't have the heart of a championship team IMO.

Now the next question, how far will they go in the playoffs?

I think they have a good chance of beating Utah/Houston in another 7 game series. They won't make it past Phoenix/San Antonio, though.

Oh well, Mavs choked/sucked. Enjoy it now Golden State - you don't have a prayer of reaching the finals.

Well duh...I'm sure plenty in the Bay Area are "enjoy[ing] it now," though 😉

I'm quite curious as to who is gonna make it out of the West now into the Finals...

As far as the East is concerned if Detroit stays focused I think they can make it to the Finals...

But the West is suddenly very intriguing..

Lets go Mavericks. Way to beat the hell out of Golden State. Whooop!

The W's had to drop one before finishing them in Oakland... they've won like 75 percent of their last 25 or so games... now the Mavs are finished.

Yet another retarded post from AE. The buck stops here for the Warriors. More like Golden State Pussies.

So if they are the Golden State Pussies, what does that make you and the Mavericks?

Dunno...but the GS Pussies did a spectacular job discharging the Mavs!

i mean.. crucial do or die game... 2/13. my god.

Serious. That's such a huge disappointment from the leading MVP candidate. Complete no-show when your back is against the wall. I think Dirk is a very talented player, but a great player - I'm not so sure. He doesn't have that ability to will his team to a victory.

He had a forearm or two on him all night.

Blame the rest of his team for not being able to capitalize.

WARRIORS WIN...O M G. I never would have seen this coming before the series started, what a complete domination by the Warriors all series long. Fun stuff, rooting for them in the second round.

No. You can't blah dirk he's the star should win it. Its like Kobe, it doesn't matter if you pass to the open man and this "pro" clanks a wide open lay up. Its kobe's fault.

seriously, 1st half the game was close, second half the mavs disappeared. I don't get WTF they were doing. Unless Avery told them otherwise, you keep running right at baron. Yet terry would pass out, harris also, then settled for jump shots.

Its such a bad way for dirk to go out. He didn't choose to be MVP of the regular season but he's gonna be stuck with all this criticism for how bad game 6 was years to come until he can win a title.

Amazing, great job by the Warriors. The Mavs clearly aren't ready to win a title yet. Even when the Mavs were down 3-1, I thought they'd come back to win the series. But Golden State is the better team. Eat it Cuban!
