This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

I watched the video and supposedly everybody has the "golden ratio" going on all the time yet most people are just not that good looking.

hmm.. yea I've thought about this as well.. at least when it comes to the face...

There's a reason why many girls "need" makeup,, more problematic than to simply look better,, is the fact that many girls don't have especially feminine features that would distinguish them from a boy..

So we've essentially artificially created the female standard, with long hair and clown paint

Actually no. Humans are base female. That means we all start out with vaginas and ovaries, that differentiate into male parts and then male parts develop (hairiness, size, features, etc).

People can look good from both sexes whether they are more manly or feminine looking, it doesn't really matter. As long as you do not look like a horse, like that bitch from Sex and City. Looking like a horse precludes you from looking good.

Just look at Emily Daschenel (lots like her) and people like Olivia Wilde (house)
