Where is the best place to purchase a Golden Orb for a p3 slot proc. Do you guys know of any site that is reliable with good prices for it?

Like to know what you're gonna use this on.. since recent test shows that it isn't that great of a cooler.. just looks nice..

go to pricewatch.com and run a search on the Gorb. thats a good way to find the best prices for an online vendor.

Overclocked CPU's has the best price I've found $10.99
(http://www.overclockedcpus.com/Merc...=CTGY&Store_Code=O&Category_Code=0011) also try
Nata Computer $12.00(http://www.natacomptech.com/cool.asp) or
2CoolTek $14.00(http://2cooltek.safeshopper.com/1/cat1.htm?448)

I've had great success with the GORB. Got 4 systems, 3 using GORBs and 1 using a FOP32-1. It's half the price of a FOP32/FOP38 and a third of PEP66 and quiet. Even if it doesn't work for you it's worth the $11 loss. What do you pay to go to a movie or out to eat and that's gone as soon as your done.

Good cooler on the *FC-PGA* chip running under a gig. 2 of my systems are P3700e's @933 and 970 both using GORB's. Temps are between 34-37c. The other 2 systems are celeron II's 533a@840 w/GORB and 566@850 w/FOP32. Had the FOP on the P3's and it cooled 1-1 1/2 deg C cooler but was much louder (to me). The FOP's back on the 850 in my daughters room.

Don't see how you can go wrong for $11.00. Just my opinion.
