My aunt and uncle want to setup a wireless network in the there house. They have 2 PC's, one upstairs one downstairs and plan on hooking a printer up to share on the network as well. I don't know much about wireless so I wanted to get some feedback on the parts i'm planning on getting. This network is just going to be for productivity, web surfing, file sharing. The upstairs PC is going to be the main computer. Its a P4, 2.5, XP Pro. The PC downstairs is a bit of a dino. P200 mmx, Win95 on it right now but plan on upgrading to Win98 SE. First and foremost, will the computer downstairs work with a wireless card in it? There is a possibility that 1 or 2 more computer will be added to this network over time. With that said here is what I was planning on getting for the network.

Router
Wireless Card

Any info would be great, thanks.

the windows 95 will be kind of iffy on the drivers support. i would go with the linksys wrtg54 instead of the dlink.

Yeah, 95 won't work on wireless. 98 should work pretty good but that speed is pushing it's limits.

Thanks guys. The downstairs computer will be upgraded to Win98 SE before I do all this. I'm not to worried about the speed on the downstairs computer, only my cousions will be using that and they are 3 and 5 years old. And will there be a noticable difference in the Linksys over the Dlink?
