Going to Vegas!

I've read the other Vegas related threads but thought I would ask one thats more specific to what we are doing.

We will be staying at the MGM Grand. We plan on seeing Blue Man Group, KÀ Cirque du Soleil and Carrot Top. Odd combination I know. We may see Le Rêve and "O": Cirque du Soleil. I plan on booking the first three shows to be sure we can see them, the others we may book when we get there.

I will most likely book our flight on Orbitz. I have not booked my rooms or any shows yet. I'm starting that process now. Of course I'm looking for good deals. I plan on checking Vegas.com and MG Grand directly. Anyone have any other sources I should check?

We will be going October 21-27 of 2007. Its for our honeymoon if that makes a difference.

20 dollar trick has worked every time I was there!

Worked first time at caesers palace. Had a huge room with a great view.

2nd time worked great at the Aladdin. Got our room upgraded to a suite

3rd time it worked perfect at the Wynn. Got a place on the 59th floor, on the corner with floor to ceiling 16 foot windows with a view of the entire strip

4th time worked again at the Wynn. Got a room on the 60th floor (top floor). I think we actually stayed in the same room that Anthony Bourdain stayed in while he was taping his show in vegas. We were right below the Y in the Wynn.
