Nogueira defeats Couture in a decision. It was a good fight with both fighters showing great skill and conditioning.

Pretty good fight. Looked like Couture was gonna lose by KO or submission, but he stuck it out.

 for both fighters

To tell you the truth I was amazed at how skillfully Randy got out of some of those predicaments. He was temporarily KO'd a couple of times but by the time Nogueira pounced on him Randy had regained his composure. He got out of some really dead-end situations.

I'm pretty new to MMA, this is the first fight I have bought. Even though he lost, Couture has won me over as a fan tonight. The guy is a straight up warrior. He puts on a show and he's a class act.

Maia Marquart was disappointing but otherwise a pretty exciting fight. MASSIVE props to Ed Herman for going out for that second round after he was clearly hurt

I thought it was kinda dumb. Unless he really had no clue he was potentially badly injured. Brains over Bravado when it's your career you're talking about.

That is why he is called Captain America

enjoyed the card, some of the fighters were just completely dialed in.

I predict 4 KO's/TKO's on the main card.

And no I have never been, I would not enjoy it as much as the bar. 50 + big screens and smoking hot waitresses ftw.

Well, we're halfway there. And both in less than a minute into the first round.

I was wrong on the main card part.. oh well.

Don't know if anyone noticed...UFC 102 story was on the homepage of espn this afternoon, first pre-fight homepage promo I've seen them do, and this is the first time I've seen them include footage of the fight afterwards.

For the longest time they would barely cover ufc, and now it looks like they're finally looking to get a piece of the pie, which will help themselves as well as the growth of the sport.

He should have done the Techno-Viking entrance, they would keep putting him on cards just for that. :D

ESPN Europe broadcasts the fights live and free, but this is just about all the U.S. service can do. :(

Not surprised to see Nog beat Randy, the dude is too old and long past his peak. Another proof that Lesnar's win over Randy doesn't mean a thing other than that he is an overhyped WWE "champ" of UFC with no record.
