..why you coming here?

Just walk around and someone will offer up something for you to buy,
don't know about soccer shoes, we don't mess with that stuff. Need a gold chain or something? We got that.

well I'm back! turns out i went to the Birch Run Factory Outlet! Man, clothes were DIRT cheap there compared to Canada with all the coupons, clearances, and additional savings! I ended up spending close to $400 in total. I also went to Circuit City and picked up a Olympus SP320 for $199.99 USD. Not bad, considering digital cameras in Canada are jacked up! Can't wait for Christmas, I'll be heading again to take advantage of those killer Christmas deals!

*EDIT*
Also went to Micro Center and CompUSA. stuff there isnt quite as cheap as i would've thought. Only good deals around there were a $20 500w P/S, some cases, and other items in the flyer ads

yea, while we were going back and forth from Birch Run and Sterling Heights, there were lots of road construction which really made things slow 🙁, overall thought I loved Michigan!

2 weeks is generally the longest tourists stay in detroit. After that they usually are transported back home to be buried closer to their family. 😛

Yea that was a good deal for that particular camera model. Seems to be the cheapest even when compared to online prices. 😉
I still like the A620 better as it has 4x zoom, SD card instead of XD, and has the flip/swivel LCD.

I love D-town. Actually I love Michigan in general. Great place, great people.

A couple times a year, we head down I-75 and hit a few malls. Somerset is good because the wife likes it (the cheap side). They have a decent food court, so that's cool too.

The best bargains are cheap clothes (Steve & Barry's) and booze, but you're too young to drink. 😛

Anyway I just wanted to chime in and say I love Detroit. It gets a pretty bad rap, and I know a lot of crap goes on that gets over-publicized, but it is a REALLY great city.

Oh yeah and you can't beat Mexican town eats... Monday nights - Canadian $ at par. Tigers games, Lions, Pistons, Wings...
