Going to someones graduation party...its like a family party and a few friends are invited (im one of them). The girl is in my school/graduating class...do i need to bring a gift or is a card enouhg?

I didn't bring crap to mine's..and no one else did either. They should be giving you gifts if anything.

Since it's a friend and a family party kind of, it wouldn't hurt to bring something. Even a card or something would be thoughtful

Hell no. As you are a poor student, you should not be inclined in any length to get a gift. Strictly optional.

As a student and a friend I doubt you are expected to bring anything other than your partying attitude. Goose granny and give gramps a wedgie. You will be the life of the party!
