will be staying at a hotel near union square for 5 days, what are some tourist attractions that i should see other than the follow?

the aquarium
alcatraz
chinatown
tea garden
fisherman's wharf

and please, no more gay districts.

Climb some streets and then be sorry you were too cheap to rent a car. SF is a beautiful city, I really loved it when I was there, it has a young and schick feel, and people are much lighter than here (east coast). Best advice is to try and chill there, enjoy the view, that's about it.

rent a car and drive to napa valley to do some wine tasting
drive across the golden gate bridge to a small tourist town called sausalito

dont forget to take the trolley from union square to fisherman's wharf
