Going to set up a wireless network at home.

I am going to set up a wireless network as now I have to many systems in one room and I don't want to run cable.

I am looking for a good G router for the primary connection to some computer. And then I would like to have an wireless access point in the other room and then be able to connect other computers to the access point.

This way I can have only to wireless devices and save money as well as space and work.

I was wondering if there is a best way of doing this or will any compatible router and access point work fine. Or would it be better to just use a second G router with the routing disabled making it a hub.

This isn't as important, but since I only need a point to pint wireless connection, is it possible to limit the wireless network connectivity between the router and base station only but still allow unrestricted physical connections.

Thanks

Outpost.com has an Airlink 108mb/s WAP for 30$, and a PCI card for 20$. You can get a secondary antenna for better range. (check under the Deals Of the Week/networking).

Thanks. I don't really want to buy separate PCI adapters as I will have several computers in one room. If I purchase two of these routers I am hoping that I can use one as a hub and connect all the computers in the other room to the router and the two routers connected wirelessly. Is this possible? And would an actual wireless access point be any better then a router or is an access point wireless only.

Thanks again

Any more suggestions. I would like to buy now and get the Thanksgiving deals. Should I get two routers or get a assess point, does it work like I want it to. I really don't want to deal with installing wireless cards in all the systems.

Thanks
