I'm sorry, but you overpaid a LOT for a horribly over-rated 'comedian' who is quickly running out of any fresh material.
There isn't a comedian on the planet worth $100/ticket. There is one guy who is no longer with us, but I can't think of his name. He died in the 1990s.
Hell I only paid $10 to see Jim Florentine, $10 for Jim Norton, $15 for Nick Dipaolo, $15 for Dave Attell and a few other quality comedians for cheap. A bunch of these guys were all in one show for like $15-$20.
Dane Cook is really riding his 15 minutes of fame hard and milking all he can get from it. Took him all of 30 seconds to sell out and costar in some truly shitty movies. He commands little, if any, respect from other comedians on the circuit. His material is limited and he relies heavily on physical type delivery. While some comedians find a niche in the market, like carrot top or (to a slightly lesser extent) Gallgher, Dane doesn't have anything that stands out.
While he did have some decently funny stuff the first time around, you can only hear the same material so much. Dane will soon fade from the public eye like most comedic one-hit-wonders. I don't see him having any longevity in the industry. He sure did cash in on the current college kid crowd, but even they get bored after a while.
Hope you had a decent time though. MSG has some good hotdogs.
