Going to San Diego, anything specific i should do?

Um.

Honestly, I did Legoland (in Denmark) when I was really young. I can't imagine an adult having very much fun there. Yes the displays are cool, but if you're going to be up by Carslbad anyways just head east to the Wild Animal Park. For kids I think Legoland is a good choice.

Joshua Tree National Park is a 200 mile drive from San Diego.

Definately check out Coronado - it's free to cross the bridge and drive there.. Also Old Town is really nice to have a great Mexican dinner. If you want to party, you can either check out PB (pacific beach) or Gas Lamp district in downtown. If you want to stay in an inexpensive hotel, there's tons of places in Hotel circle area that are fine (plus its really central to everything).

Exactly! Plus Gas Lamp is way more expensive

i used to work there. unless you are a young child, id avoid it. its expensive and the rides are nothign to write home about. sure the lego displays are cool, but it gets old really quick.
