I'll be going to Prague with the gf for ~2 weeks this July and need some recommendations:

1. Guide book recommendations?
2. Movies to watch (about Prague, that is)?
3. Places to visit?

Go to the bookstore and pick up any guide of Prague. You will have an absolute blast, as it is a wonderful city with gorgeous architecture, an amazing history, and tremendous character. Since it will be July, you might have a difficult time not checking out the beautiful Czech women ;)

My one suggestion is, if you have the time, to take a side trip to Cesky Krumlov. There is no other city in the world like it.

I would get a Lonely Planet guidebook, and other than that go and have a great time....eat good food and drink good beer....

Don't forget to visit the hostel in Bratislava, Slovakia. It's just crowded with hot, promiscuous and sexy girls! :p

Remember, Prague is only one letter off from Plague.

I'm not sure what that means, but remember it.

I went 28th December till 1st January a few months back. It was fun but it was pretty cold but I had a really warm jacket so I was fine.

Watch out for the restaurants that charge £14 for a bottle of water!

Visit the castle and just take in the sights and sounds. We should have spent more time travelling about but we were too hung over on most days to do much...:(

Most places are within walking distance and you should be enjoying some great weather in July. The women are gorgeous and you see few overweight people. But seemingly a lot of people we saw smoke.
