All the work I could have done myself (none of the machine shop work, cause I don't have the tools, so jsut the assembly) was $150. I figured I'd let them do it, cause it'd be faster. There's no warranty on it because it's a shortblock, and they have no way of telling if I finish the assembly correctly or not.
Actually, it was initially supposed to be done two weeks ago. It took 5 or 6 weeks for it to get finished, but it looked like they had a LOT of motors in there right now. I guess it's hot rod season. There's about $600 in labor (including $150 assembly from earlier), and $850 in parts in it.
