If you're going to TJ, take a cab to Rosarito. The bars are way better and its FAAAR less foul. It's only 23 km or so, so it's pretty damn cheap. I think a carload of buddies last time I went was like 15 bucks...
 
Damn, I want to go, but now I am worried. I guess I could always go down there and just ask before I cross the border. Although, even from San Diego, it's a bit too far to drive to be sent home.
