Going to lay down new weed barrier and mulch soon

In the front of my house, I have about 200"Length x 8'Deep I'm wanting to redo with new Weed barrier and mulch.

List your preferred mulch in the poll. If you want to list why you use this mulch or some tips to save me some hassle, post hither.

We get bulk shredded wood from the local mulch place. It's not cedar, just oak or something I think. Much cheaper than getting it in bags from a home improvement store.

We borrow the neighbors trailer, go have 3 years dumped in, then go drive the trailer around our yard dumping out the mulch wherever it's needed. No need for trucking it around in a wheelbarrow or anything like that.

I use pine straw - it's cheap, and effective 🙂

For an area that size you're much better off buying in bulk than at HD/Lowe's. Also lay down some Preen first.
