going to jamaca, what should I look out for, or bring?

haha, my dad just got 6 tickets to jamaca and we are going for about a week, we leave tomorrow night. What should we bring, or watch out for (scams, etc).

He was talking to people at his work and they were saying watch out for peopel asking for GANGA (SP?) which is weed (i knew, but he didnt) and they will bust you and toss you into the jamacan jail if you say anything other then no.

We are a family of 6, dad, mom, sisters (15, 17) and me (19) and my little brother (13).

Where are you going in Jamaica? All-inclusive, or just a hotel? My wife and I went to Montego Bay on our honeymoon, and we loved it. I would suggest that you don't venture outside your resort on your own. If you do go outside the resort, do it with a tour or group of people.

yup, the holiday in for the last 5 nights, then el grecho the first 2 nights.
