Going to get close to a civil war

Right! Never thought I'd be in situation where I'd want a gun to defend myself from the very gun nutter militia that was supposed to be defending itself from the government. But here we are.
Any who have read my inputs on this forum regarding 2A know I'm pretty ardent about it, and I've cited specifically totalitarian governments as the number 1 existential threat of our era, just a smidge past climate change. I support 2A specifically as a defense against totalitarian governments, and I consider the recent uprisings as nothing more than an extension of that, a citizen army/militia bent on supporting that totalitarian government.

Time will tell if any 2A exercise will actually be necessary, I hope not.

Meh.

He can work on reloads. Keeping a fire poker nice n hot, things like that.

That was the point I was trying to make, he could work on lots of stuff, but choose not to, cause guns easy... That just sounds like a recipe for disaster should the actual day arrive.

Maybe there is too many low class magas to actually wage a war?

Hmm, so I'm wondering which account on here is that guy's.

I'm really baffled by him. They know quite a few paramilitary guys (remember Betsy's brother?), it really shouldn't be that hard to figure out where to start investigating. The question is, what were they actually after. They definitely would not have been too stupid to not know where the floors of Congress are. Those guys were not after the politicians, they were after something else.

Its also where I disagree with him, and him dismissing the bumbling fucking idiots is stupid. They were the ones after the politicians but too stupid to know where to find them. But, there's a reason why shrewd manipulator exploits them and why Turmp keyed on them as his bread and butter. Without them we never get to this point. He knew to incite those people as he could later easily dismiss them (just like they and he is doing now), throwing them under the bus.

Got my grandad's officer-issued 1911 which he used to "great effect" after crashing his glider in Normandy, crawling out with a torn out leg, and taking out a few pillboxes in the process.

I hope it's not time to dust off ol' Nazi Killer.

Nice!

You ever put any ball through it?

I'm genuinely curious as to how many Arizona legislators might participate in storming the Arizona Legislature. Joe Arpaio could play Erich Ludendorff 😛

I'd rather he played Capt. Tazerballs, but I'm afraid the uniform is just a bit tight for old Joe.

You think Prince is heading up the proud boys?
Also Seth is most certainly not on here, but he is a former prosecutor and now doing investigative journalism, three books on the subject(s) under his belt and close to everything he has posted/warned about has come to pass. Dismiss him if you must. Id advice against it.

I do not see a civil war coming. What's the fuckin' problem? Fraud that doesn't exist? Gimme a break.

I'm pretty much ignorant beyond that post I made...what are you talking about, lol? I've fired it a few times and have been pretty negligent about cleaning it regularly, but that's about it, haha.

Uh...

"They were talking about 4,000 armed 'patriots' to surround the Capitol and prevent any Democrat from going in," Rep. Conor Lamb, a Pennsylvania Democrat, told CNN's Alisyn Camerota on "New Day." "They have published rules of engagement, meaning when you shoot and when you don't. So this is an organized group that has a plan. They are committed to doing what they're doing because I think in their minds, you know, they are patriots and they're talking about 1776 and so this is now a contest of wills."

Democrats stole the election. China owns Biden. Etc.

If you think there isn't a problem, you've obviously been deeply isolated from the alt-reality bubble. I honestly don't know how many millions are part of it, but the problem is that they are a religion. Everything is faith based. And their purpose is to seize political power by any means. Essentially we are in the position of Mecca before it fell to Mohamed. To keep the parallel, we just cast them out to Medina this weekend.

It ain't over. It's not even about Trump. The human condition is just susceptible to delusion and acts of violence against "others".

Uh...

They're delusional(as usual). To get thousands to DC for the Jan 6th mess, the Republican "brain trust" funded fleets of buses in every State, and they traveled openly, because there is nothing wrong with attending a political rally.

For the inauguration, these morons will tracked, and intercepted now, they won't be able to assemble in a critical mass anywhere, any that try it will just be throwing away their futures, or lives in ignominy, as they suicide by cop.

Uh...

A terrible and practically unworkable plan that will see a lot of dead insurrectionists if they try.

I read there will be 15k national guard around the Capitol during the inauguration.

15k > 4k

They seem to think it's going to be a few overwhelmed cops behind low barriers...

Instead of a division sized military force either carrying weapons or with them at the ready.

15k > 4k

There won't be 4K. There will be a few groups of maybe 6 guys that piss themselves when they see what actual security looks like, and maybe a few ultra delusional nitwits that still try something and SBC.

I think the concern is how many of those 15k are planning to side with the Trump supporters?

This whole thing is just so surreal. I don't know if I'm watching a movie or some unstable 3rd world banana republic in action.

Is the US going to be the new Israel or other similar country beseiged by ongoing, random terrorist acts? This the new normal I guess? Do they have the will to carry this out for 10+ years and slowly grind away at us until the current government gives in or worse?

So something vintage like that, which likely has all original internals, you'd want to stick to classic round nose ammo. The standard pressure, 800-900fps rounds we use at the range, aka hard ball, or ball. Nothing fancy, no hollowpoints or high pressure ++P shit for that old workhorse. "Hay," that's it. You don't want to break anything. I'd lube it too, make that feed ramp nice n presentable. Maybe replace a mag spring or two. The basic break down of a 9/11 isn't as easy and quick as with newer, striker fired pistol designs, but it's still plenty doable, clips on youtube I bet. Plain ol WD40 is fine too.

No, but acting like they can't figure out where a bunch of the guidance for those idiots is coming from is ridiculous.

What? The fuck are you talking about? I'm not dismissing him, I'm disagreeing with him dismissing the people that were actually there with the intent to murder politicians. Those are the Timothy McVeighs, useful idiots guided along by the paramilitary guys into doing the really terrible shit, wherein it lets them plead innocence and nothing meaningful is done about it. Its why instead of them clamping down so hard on that shit in the 90s it just let things get kicked down the road til now. Its not even like that's surprising since some of those groups were talking about exactly the type of shit we've seen since 2010, that gave rise to Turmp, and is fueling their push to trigger civil unrest hoping for a race war.

Also, he's been wrong about a ton of stuff. He "connected the dots" on shit that never amounted to jack shit and went nowhere then tried to double down on it by connecting it to other shit later and it also went nowhere. He had multiple borderline nonsensical theories about things over the past 4 years. I don't think he's an idiot though and we actually agree more often than not. Which is why I'm baffled as to why he's suddenly trying to dismiss the people actually there with intent to murder politicians. Same with the other people trying to act like they were just stupid kids there for social media points (which even if that were true, the fact they can be goaded into helping to try and overthrow the government should be chilling to people, instead a bunch are trying to handwaive it away and dismiss it).

Sometimes I really wonder about people like you. Its like you randomly choose to act like conservatives and intentionally look for the dumbest interpretation of things as possible while the simple straightforward aspects are staring you in the face.

I get the...sympathy for the idiots getting duped, but when it leads to them trying to bring bombs, nooses, and trying to murder politicians to overthrow the government and instill the slimiest sack of shit President America has ever seen as god emperor, then sorry you can't just act like that's no big deal.

I am not sure where either of you guys see him dismiss the threat of the people there.

One tweet he is stating how all the RWNJ goals align: Intimidate and delay.
In the other he notes that while Trump doesn't like how some his crowd is "low-class", he has no problem with paramilitary units.

To me, he is implying that Trump is happy have people dressed for war at his rally, further implication is that he wants them to go to war. Nothing more. He doesn't dismiss the threat of the "low class" bunch.

Or are we referring to different tweets?

So all of them were there for the murder party? I dont see anyone dismissing anyone that was there with the intent to murder. No one. But yea, I can see it both ways. Still you want to bring that whole mob up on terror charges?

About Seth connecting the dots, and stuff going no where, I'll just leave it at this : His tweets as a tendency to age well.

Sometimes I really wonder about people like you too. You say you see the conservative in me, thats funny, cause thats exactly what I see in you too.

6 to 8 minutes (the whole thing is good).
1. No one is getting "away", everyone is on record.
2. Bringing the hammer has a backside.
