WTF??? Can you imagine someone doing that do you? Plucking you out of your house, ripping your arm off, then throwing you back into your living room? 😱

Came in to suggest Kuma's Corner.

Lucky's Sandwich Co. in Wrigleyville if you want a tasty, giant sandwich for relatively cheap. They were on Man vs. Food. I'd suggest eating there when drunk.

Silver Palm in the West Loop. More fantastic sandwiches, but a little pricier. Bourdain was here, nominated one of their sandwiches Best Sandwich in the World or something like that.

D'Amato's Bakery, also in West Loop, for pizza-bread/focaccia or baked goods.

Of course, Superdawg, Lou Malnati's, etc. Though I dare say, some of the best pizza might be getting made in the 'burbs.

Tasty shit and only $7. Been a few weeks since I've had one. About 3 blocks from my house.

No one talking about Gino's East? It's THE representative Chicago deep dish pizza.

Gino's East is the Pizza Inn of Chicago. it is a deplorable establishment.

Lou Malnatti's or Due, hands down.

Gino's is scum on a plate, and they charge you $20 to wait in line with the other tourists for the pleasure of eating the scum that they serve you.

Go to the Weber Grill!

Reasonaby priced, great beer selectioon, and the tastiest burgers & chicken fresh off a Weber kettle grill!

Gino's is so 90's..... Lou Malnati's blows Gino's away for good Chicago deep-dish. Morton's is a top-notch steak house....

I'm hitting up Lou Malnati's and/or Giordano's, Hot Doug's, Ruth's Chris, Feast Restaurant...any local favorites I should hit as appetizers?

Me when I come home:

Giordano's is in bankruptcy

Hot dougs is literally on the same block where I live until Saturday, I am moving to Elgin.

Bob Chinns if you get lost and find yourself along restaurant row in suburbia.... (best seafood in non-coastal state, awesome dry aged steaks)

Right near the loop there's Greektown, I love the food at Costa's and the Parthenon

Costa's
340 S. Halsted St.

Parthenon

My GF got me hooked on Puerto Rican food
Cousin's Grill is a little hole in the wall place with delicious food and cheap prices
4612 W Diversey Ave # A, Chicago, IL

If you're in the area, totally worth it to stop by just to try some of their appetizers, Alcapurrias are fvcking awesome

I am still bothered by the fact that demon dogs closed...

GOD DAMN RIGHT!!!
Used to hop off at Fullerton just so I could grab one. Damn good cheese fries too!
RIP

Nothing you listed outside of Hot Doug's is really worth visiting imo 😛

Go to Piquods for a proper Chicago pizza.
Go to Kuma's Corner for the best burger you'll ever have and a healthy does of whiskey and metal.
Hog Doug's is great on Fridays... duck fat fries.

If you're into Vietnamese food, check out Pho 777 on Argyle Street.
If you want great Dim Sum, go to Phoenix in Chinatown.

If you want an amazing selection of beer and great food check out Hopleaf on Clark St. in Andersonville.

If you want more recommendations hit me up.

edit: if you want to shop for guitar gearz lmk, I'll fill you in about the spots to check out.

Agreed. I was definitely not impressed when I went there.

Random Chicago AT meet this weekend? We can crash the OP's dinner!

😱 How can that be?????? Giordano's is one of my favorite pizza places in the world, and there's always a 45 minute wait!

For sure. So good, I got 90% through my spicy chicken sandwich before I realized I'd ordered and Italian club. Course I was three sheets to the wind at the time...

Might as well pump this thread for information...my friend has a show at Reggie's near Chinatown on Friday night - aside from Chinatown (I can handle that), any places you all would suggest that's in the area? Gotta be good food, doesn't matter if it's expensive.
