going to an asian market tomorrow...

what should I look to buy?

I figure since half of ATOT is asian, someone might have some good suggestions 😛

I've got a doctor's appointment a couple towns over tomorrow morning and there's an asian grocery store right down the road from his office... I'm thinking tomorrow's the day I should finally go shop there.

I've been to one before, but all I got was bubble tea (and I wouldn't touch that with a 10' poll these days since I'm really limiting my sugar intake)

I like roasted duck, but that's probably not offered at most stores. For snack food, I like shrimp chips; the ones you fry yourself.

Costco sells shrimp chips by the 6 bag bundle.

Get some sauces - soy sauce, chili sauce, toasted sesame oil, etc.

They'll have an aisle of weird foreign candies and snacks. Try some.

There will also be some odd seafood you don't typically see in a grocery store - if you're up for it, pick some up to try. 😛

A dozen assorted Asians?

Better make it two dozen...they're small.
