Well, i guess there some setup problem with my X2 that I need to look into. I'm getting something like 2400 for single channel. Memeory is Cosair Value 512mb. Running everything stock for now.
 
Actually my dualcore runs about 5500 (at stock) so I think the dualcores are a little lower than the singlecores. 5500 from a theoretical 6400 and you are at 2400 from a theoretical 3200. Pretty similar.
