I saw Nickelback a while ago when they first released their Silver Side Up album. It was my first concert and I'd say it was a good show. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.

they will each get about 45mins to an hour...so figure if the first act goes on at 7 the show should start at around 9.
Then again..I would sell your tickets and not go see nickelback. Going to see them as your first concert will skew your concept of what a concert should be. Its not suppose to be a pile of crap.

a mosh pit at a nickelback concert is not a mosh pit....
I went to a system of a down concert once. I was in a mosh pit this guy was thrown out of it with his elbow bleeding all over. He took his finger, got some blood on it, wiped it under his eyes like a football player would and jumped back in. I decided that maybe I should move on to the next one...

no..i am sure they do..i mean every concert with a rock band..or something claiming to be a rock band is gonna have a mosh pit. Its just that the level of awesome and brutalness varies. I am guessing its a pretty lame mosh pit at the nb concert.

Old green day had a pretty good one

Biggest pit I ever saw was at a Monsters of Rock concert in Tampa. Metallica was the final band and with all the bands they had (the previous 2 bands played near normal concert length sets) from start till finish was 10+ hours. Never seen so many people getting stretchered out. Most probably just dehydration, but still a memorable time.
