edit:will i get rung me up for 50$ by mail a month later
(i do know that backing up the car and getting caught will definitely a few hundred)

They'll mail you something saying hey, pay us, we won't charge you a fine since its your first time.

first mistake: they'll send u a warning letter with no fine

so you should be fine

. You can't go through it w/o EZpass, the bar won't go up and a cop will come over to collect the toll.

IN NJ the parkway authority is going after this one moving company because they owe them $10,000 in fines. They would go through the EZ pass lane although they didn't have it. Now their screwed badly.

I travel from NYC --> Rochester, NY via NYS Thruway and it costs $9.95 with EZ-PASS. Probably costs $12 without.
NYC --> Buffalo would probably cost more. That would be the whole length of the NYS Thruway.

Geez. Makes me so happy there aren't (for the most part) toll roads in Cali. I guess they realize roads are congested enough without toll booths

I did that once up between erie and buffalo. I couldn't tell what lane I was in until the last minute and couldn't move into another lane by that time. I went thru and then went inside the building on the side and some chick said that she couldn't take my money. She handed me a form to fill out and send via mail to them. It seemed like more of a hassle than what the toll was so I never did it. Haven't ever heard anything about it since.
