Going Postal

Postal workers were just generalized as being known to be extremely disgruntled and get hostile on the job. Therefore, getting angry and "going postal".

I am as surprised as you are. What are they? Twelve?

Yeah. Am I really getting this old? It wasn't that long ago that a bunch of postal workers went nuts and shot up their offices + co workers.

Well I didn't know about the incident first hand, but I grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma. As a kid, I never realized why there was a memorial statue outside our post office. It clicked once I got to undergrad and read about the story. Sent chills down my spine once I realized that it was the same post office that we had been going to for years.

Sad, sad incident. May all the victims rest in peace. 🙁
