Local Sears is closing its doors.

Need a dishwasher... check. Stainless steel outside with stainless steel tub. On the list for tomorrow morning.

Freezer (upright) frostfree. Check, on the list for tomorrow morning.

Water softener - on the list.

Possibly a Nikon 5600.....
What's a good price for a 5600 - a price where you can't turn down the deal?

If you're in western NY, their prices are just hitting the decent bargain level... Anyone else have a sears going out of business near them?

Tools? :D

None going out of business here..one about 35 miles away, but they're supposed to be putting one in near me, so maybe they'll transfer inventory.

anything craftsman. great stuff. We used exclusively craftsman at my last job(snap on and matco raped you on prices). Durable and whenever a socket broke, take it to the closest sears to get a new one. Like anybody seriously in the auto repair business. I have a few grand of craftsman tools in my garage for when/if i get back into the industry again(dont need your own tools but it's a good idea to have them for when you need to put in overtime on a car behnd schedule.)

What are the discounts on craftsman tools off retail?

I'll hand you a tidy profit if you wanna deal.

They're only 15% off right now... hardly worth it.
They've barely moved any off the shelves.

However, today the percent off increases (probably by 5%)...
The water softeners were 40% off yesterday... Pulling the trigger today :)
Plus, the freezers were already at a good price yesterday (but at a higher percent off today).. I just watch the inventory - 2 freezers left that I wanted yesterday. Can't wait any longer or I'll miss out.

But, tons and tons of tools right now. Not even down to their sale price (when they have good sales)

I was thinking about a weight set and I looked at Sears and they had a large selection. You could always get more linens if they come down to a reasonable price.
