Homer Simpson - porno magazines, large box of condoms, a bottle of Old Harper, a couple of those panty shields, and some illegal fireworks, and one of those disposable enemas... eh, make it two.
 
Batteries for your flashlight and camera.

Also, make sure not to smoke (if anyone there does). Smoke is often mistaken for a ghostly mist. Bad weather like rain can be mistaken for orbs.

Look for cold spots. Take pics if/when you feel them
 
Bring a Ziploc bag so that when you get a clue after being out there for hours and finding nothing, you'll have a place to store it and refer to again later in life.
