Ever finished one game and almost immediately started another...?

Do you find yourself trying to use keys from the finished game in the new one...?

Do you find yourself thinking, "damn, cloaking or slowing down time would REALLY help here!"

Yes - addicted to gaming in general - finish up one game, have to start another.
Yes/No - most FPS games use WASD/Mouse. :)

I try to play only one game at a time. I get really confused trying to play 2 games at once, especially RTS or RPGs. Most shooters seem to have basically the same control scheme, and not much plot except to kill stuff, so are not as easy to confuse.

I recently started playing dragon age 2 (got in on sale at Direct2Drive), and find the controls to that game quite counter-intuitive. For instance right clicking both attacks and moves, and you cannot pan the camera with the mouse.

Went from Doom to Quake to Half-Life to Doom 3 to Half-Life 2 to Quake 4 to l4d - l4d2 to metro2033

After playing Half-Life, I started asking myself why do I have to find keys/PDAs and backtrack in Doom 3 and Quake 4?

Half-life, half-life 2, l4d, l4d2 have made the backtracking to find the keys gameplay obsolete.

No. I play several at once and avoid any down time.

Do you find yourself trying to use keys from the finished game in the new one...?

Never. I have multiple personality disorder and keeping all that straight comes naturally to me.

Do you find yourself thinking, "damn, cloaking or slowing down time would REALLY help here!"

When ever my mother-in-law visits.

Most of the games I have played allow you to pan the camera without holding down any mouse buttons, allowing you to look around or change direction of movement much more conviently than in DA2.

I tend to be haunted by the games I never finished - Bioshock still calls to me at night, those little goth girls crying my name....

I still have a few missions left on Starcraft 2 - shame on me!

I usually play a few games concurrently, but they're different enough that I don't get confused. Recently though I played some of Mass Effect 1 after doing a lot of Mass Effect 2, and that was tough because the two games control very differently.

I don't play as many console games but the Halo series is terrible for this, every game has different controls.

It's exactly the same as Dragon Age: Origins. In any case however, you said there's NO WAY to pan the camera around - I simply pointed out you were wrong.

Whether you think it's "convenient" or not is irrelevant.
