This is my current setup:
1.0 ghz Celeron (on mwave's cheapo $9 sloket adapter)
Abit BH6 revision 1.0x
576MB SDRAM
Leadtek Geforce2 Ti (O/Ced 270/480)
Antec case with 250W power supply
The main game I play right now is Dark Age of Camelot. My system runs the game very well and smoothly, but in big towns such as Camelot, the framerate does still drop and it gets a little bit choppy. I don't know if this is an issue with lag (I'm on cable) or if my system is not fast enough.
Will I see any improvement in DAoC if I upgrade my Geforce2 Ti to a Geforce3 Ti200? Or is my Celly too weak sauce? I was trying to eek out what little bit I could from my BH6 mobo so I got the cheap $80 Celeron.
The other question I have is: Will my 250W power supply be able to provide enough juice for a Geforce3 card? I've seen some people mention that older mobos may not be able to use the Geforce3 cards.
