Now that I know what Vsynce and tearing is, I can spot it in this game so easily.

Just interesting when you look back and see all the type of tricks that they used to get the most out of a crappy system.

Do you suppose that would happen if I emulate it on my sexbox?

Or don't play it all, I can't stand any of the current World War II games, expect maybe a few including the Forgotten Hope Mod for Battlefield. I think I'll wait for Bothers in Arms

Wow, I had no idea the series was that old, the first time I played MOH was on the PC

PSX

Medal of Honor - got all the stars
Medal of Honor: Underground - never beat it.

PC

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault - beat it
Spearhead - beat it
Breakthrough - beat it

PS2

Medal of Honor - Frontline - going back to console controls sucked to much for me to beat it

Those are all the MOHs I know of.

And MoH: Rising Sun for PS2. Yeah the controls are so crappy for consoles I can't go back to a FPS there again.

Always glad to help. (Assuming that wasn't sarcasm, you can never tell on the internet...)

Edit: To keep this on topic, I'd just like to say that I didn't like MoH, mostly because consoles never did FPS right until Halo came out... And even that has some frustrating moments of "turn, damn you, TURN!!" while the bad guys riddle you full of holes.

I was serious Shinei, and thanks VIAN for the complete breakdown  for both of you! :D

As for FPS's on consoles, I would have to agree w/ the above posters, they are difficult to play on a console [except Halo], maybe it's just that you can use a mouse and k/b easier than a controller, but if it's a FPS, I prefer the PC versions, especially Call of Duty and BF: Vietnam :)

Battlefield Vietnam on a CONSOLE? How could they manage that? I mean, the most powerful console is still only as powerful as a three-year-old computer, and even state of the art video card/CPU combinations struggle to run BF:V at high framerates...

Edit: Unless you were talking about that Battlefield game that came out for the PS2, in which case, that's still a bad idea in my opinion, just slightly different reasons.

I ran BF:1942 for a while on a GF2MX 400 with 32MB of VRAM (admittedly, only really playable at 800x600, or at 1024x768 with all the details turned down). I would imagine that the XBox (a tweaked GF3, essentially) could run something similar to BF:V at 640x480 interlaced at 30FPS without a problem. I mean, it's gonna run Doom3...
