If you want to eat at a buffet I highly recomend the Paris and Ballagio Buffet. They are excellent.

bellagio gormet buffet (fri-sun) went up by a $1.

rio seafood buffet went up $4 this year. now $34. :( :disgust: Even at $31 i didnt like since cause the shrimp werent peeled.

Seafood buffet (Fridays) at the Stratosphere was very good when we were in temp quarters there. Family ate there every Friday for 2 months.

Buffer at Main Street Station is a good value.

very disolusioned with the Saraha buffet.

Go to the craps table and wait til the point has been established. Put down $12 on 6 and $12 on 8. Wait til one or the other is rolled then take $6 off of the 6 and $6 off of the eight. Next roll on 6 or 8 is just profit. Repeat :)

Poor advice. This strategy fails to utilize ODDS, which is the only bet in the casino with NO house advantage. However, you probably need to find a $5 table or better yet, a $2 table to play "by the book" with only $500 if you are taking maximum odds (5-10x). Otherwise, a little bad luck will wipe you out immediately.
$500 is plenty for a $5 table.

$5 line bet
wait for point to be made
max odds bet
$5 come bet
if the next roll is a seven you lose
if the next roll is the point, you win
if the next roll is anything else, your come bet moves up to that number (ifnore 2 & 11)
put max odds on your old come bet
new $5 come bet
rinse lather repeat

This strategy is based on you finding a roller that sets a point and then doesn't make the point or roll a seven for a LONG time. When you find that rolloer he will make you a CRAP load of money. If a roller sets the point rolls several numbers once and then rolls a seven it hurts pretty bad, but you will have to live with it.

This is one of the best ways to play casino games. Half your bets on the table are at true odds (can't beat them odds) and the emotional roller coaster that is a craps table is the funnest thing ever.

I couldn't have said it any better myself, Mwilding. The reasoning behind my eariler comment was that there is a 16.67% chance of hitting a seven, and a 27.78% chance of hitting the six or eight. Much better odds if ya look at it :D

Nope, you guys gave completely different strategies. Mwilding gave a "by the book strategy" to minimize the house advantage while you did not. Your reasoning is flawed considering you are risking two bets (6 and 8) at one time. If those percentages held for a place bet solely on the 6 for instance (which it doesn't) , then your strategy makes sense.

I should also add that there is nothing wrong with your strategy if that is how you wish to play. Just realize that mathematically, it's not the best way to play.

By "find" I meant have your money on the table when this mythical person takes his turn.

I know our strategies are completely different, his was just better (and by the book). Mine depends on a mathematically perfect table. Once the point is established there is a 10:36 chance of hitting the 6 or 8, whereas there is only a 6:36 chance of hitting the seven. Once you hit that better ratio, you take half of your money off. Therefore, you have a $2 profit and $12 still on the table.

I've been using this method and have come to the conclusion that old people are the best shooters.

I refuse to put money down when there is a female shooter.

And I will pull my bet if the point is a 6/8. Single odds on the 5/9 Max odds on 4/10
I bet the don't.

Advantage of experience. Do not win a lot, but loose even less

Do one thing, go to Fat Tuesdays and order a 190 octane. It's like a alcholoic slurpie and super strong, the stongest one the sell. I think a 20 once on is only like 7 bucks, plus for a extra dollar they'll put a shot of everclear in it. One of these got me hammered, it's great when you just want to walk the strip or a mall because frankly gambling gets boring and you'll need to take a brake.

GOOD LUCK

Rio's seafood was worth every penny to me. They were serving gourmet quality sushi, the type that runs $5-8 a piece at top Japanese restaurants. I'm sort of a sushi fanatic so I know quality when I taste it. Every other buffet that has attempted to serve sushi in LV is pathetic in comparison, including Bellagio.
