Don't forget to visit Cafe Du Monde for some coffee and beignets. Pat O'Briens is pretty cool, if you're in to piano bars.

Mmmmmm....

Definitely. I  Beignets. :D

Krispy Kreme opened up across the street from the Beignet place in the Quarter last year and a couple of weeks ago the Krispy Kreme closed down due to lack of business. The Beignet place stomped them totally!!! :D

I had a Krispy Kreme for the first time a couple weeks ago and was NOT impressed. Definitely can't even compare to beignets from Cafe Du Monde.

Just remember not to wear black to the Cafe. If there is any wind, the tables and chairs outside will be covered with a fine dusting of powdered sugar.

For restaurants, Jimmy Buffet's is casual, fun place to go with really good food. Not cajun, but really interesting and delicious food. Good drinks too. Buy a $10 tropical drink in a very large to-go cup and you'll be set for awhile.
