I may sound old but most of todays popular music blows chunks.. these bands are taken by the labels and molded into something that they can then seel to you because you are stupid and they tell you it's 'cool'

but i wouldnt whine too much about rock these days, somethinig to complain about would be that god awful trash so called sh|t 'music'. Yes im speaking of RAP, what fvcking filth, same with the women rappers.

I agree with you for the most part; I despise most of today's radio-friendly music. But, I like Godsmack, along with Staind. They are two of the most talented bands out there today that get play time. Granted, compared to Guns n Roses, old school Metallica, or even Blind Guardian or Tool, they suck, but IMHO Godsmack and Staind have some very good songs and deserve recognition, even if they can be repeititive and generic at times.
