Godaddy destroys customer business

dang i have my domain registered with godaddy. have had it for the past couple years. no problems. but it is very dumb for godaddy to contact the owner via email when they knew the email info is wrong

One more reason to not bother with godaddy, on top of the 50 reasons that already exist. Namecheap is a good choice at only $8.88/year per domain.

Wow, they are my registrar...I've had no probs w/them. Obviously, this happened due to some n00b CSR...who has since probably been fired.

I mean, if the email on record bounces, they still have the name/phone/address/etc of the person/company that originally registered said domain. It is/would be good business to attempt contact via another method before selling the domain out from under them.

Besides, how can they sell a domain to someone else if the registration period had NOT yet expired? :confused: Explain that one to me, please.
